Bruce Poon Tip
Entrepreneur, leader and philanthropist, Bruce Poon Tip is the founder of adventure travel company and social enterprise G Adventures. With a vision that travel could become a force for social good and significant wealth distribution, Bruce founded the nonprofit Planeterra in 2003, to direct travel dollars into underserved communities around the world. He has addressed the United Nations and the World Bank, spoken at the headquarters of Apple and Google, and delivered keynote speeches at TED events and entrepreneurship conferences around the world. In 2012, Bruce was inducted into the Social Venture Network Hall of Fame. He was also awarded a Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, recognizing significant contributions to society, and was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 2002 and 2006.
Kelly Galaski
A sustainable tourism professional with 25 years of experience, Kelly Galaski specializes in community tourism development and destination stewardship. Her career includes leadership roles at Planeterra Foundation and the Travel Foundation, and developing responsible travel policies for industry leader G Adventures. Currently, Kelly is the Senior Director of Operations & Head of Impact at Planeterra, where she supports the global team in creating positive impacts through tourism.
Allie Marchand
Allie Marchand is a Senior Consultant with EY’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services practice in Toronto, specializing in sustainability advisory for the retail, finance, and technology sectors. She helps organizations design and implement effective environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies. Prior to joining EY, Allie worked in the UK as a sustainability consultant for a non-profit, collaborating with global financial and technology firms to promote responsible business practices. She holds a Master of Science in Environment, Politics, and Development from King’s College University.
Jennifer Prigl
Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Jennifer brings experience in community development, relationship building, and project planning across BC First Nations, non‑profit, and environmental stewardship sectors. She holds a BA in Political Science and Environmental Studies from McGill University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Environmental Policy while managing a small team within a BC First Nations service organization. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys hiking in the mountains of British Columbia and exploring new cuisines from around the world. Jennifer joined the Planeterra Canada Charitable Foundation Board of Directors in 2025 and is excited to contribute to an organization committed to supporting community‑led, sustainable tourism initiatives globally.
Alanna Wallace
Alanna brings fifteen years of experience in fundraising and nonprofit management to the Planeterra Canada Charitable Foundation Board of Directors. Currently serving as the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation’s Director of Campaign and Community Giving, Alanna is spearheading the organization’s We Care, We Can Campaign, a multi-million dollar initiative to build a new hospital just outside the Greater Toronto Area. Alanna began her career in the international development space, working on the ground across Southern Africa supporting community-based initiatives in education and wildlife conservation. Since returning to Canada in 2017, she has held fundraising and communications roles at the Stephen Lewis Foundation, as well as Planeterra International Foundation. Throughout her career, Alanna has demonstrated a passion for storytelling, community engagement, and building a culture of philanthropy. Her expertise in strategic planning, development, leadership and corporate partnerships has consistently resulted in significant fundraising growth across diverse organizations, and she is excited to bring this expertise to the Board.
